Terms and conditions

The rules for using CamStream and the CamStream Pro subscription.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are, and what you are using

CamStream (com.camstream.app) is an Android application by Ubiquitous S.r.l., Via Ariosto 25, 00185 Roma, Italia, P.IVA 17584931004. By installing or using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall it.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on devices you control. Ownership of the software is not transferred. You may not decompile, modify or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows it.

3. What it needs to work

The app depends on hardware and networks we do not control. It requires a compatible device and, depending on the feature, a local network, third-party cameras or Google services. We do not warrant compatibility with every device or every third-party appliance.

4. The CamStream Pro subscription

The app is free within the limits described on its Google Play listing. CamStream Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual, sold through your Google Play account.

When a subscription ends the app returns to the free plan. Nothing you created or configured is deleted.

5. Responsible use

You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with applicable law, including law on privacy, video surveillance and filming people. Obtaining consent and posting notices where they are required is yours to do, not ours.

6. Warranties

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties. We do not warrant that the app is free of errors or that it runs without interruption. It is not a certified security system and must not be relied on as the only safeguard where a failure could cause harm to people or property.

Nothing in this clause limits the rights the law gives consumers.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the app in the preceding twelve months. Liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, such as wilful misconduct and gross negligence, is unaffected.

8. Changes and discontinuation

We may update the app and these terms; material changes are announced in the release notes. We may discontinue the app: an active subscription is then not renewed, and the unused part is refunded under Google Play's policies.

9. Governing law

Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence or domicile remain competent; for other relationships the courts of Rome are competent.
